Village walk in East Iceland

While in East Iceland visit the friendly town of Faskrudsfjordur and experience with a local the sweet nice fishing willage with strong ties to France.

The little French town where you can learn about how the French sailors had big impact on the life of the locals in this cute town. Remains from that time are various buildings, artefacts, a grave site and all the street signs both in Icelandic and French.

Fun and rather easy walk in charming villages with a local person which will give you an insight to the daily life’s of the inhabitants. In each tour we will visit a local person and get some refreshments. A great way to get to know the Icelandic culture and how Icelanders live their lives at the eastern most part of Iceland.
